China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has officially issued commercial 5G licenses to mobile operators in China. According to the report, ZTE works closely with three operators, which will carry ZTE’s Axon 10 Pro 5G for these networks, including China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicorn.

The report also cited the July release schedule. ZTE’s Axon 10 Pro 5G was first announced at MWC and has been listed on major European 5G markets.

The Chinese market has not yet announced pricing for 5G variants. For reference, the 5G Axon 10 Pro is priced at €899 in Finland, but we expect China’s price to drop.

In addition to the increased 5G connectivity support, the ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G is identical to the 4G LTE version of the handset. The phone has a large 6.47-inch screen powered by a 4,000 mAh battery. Onboard Snapdragon 855 and up to 12GB of RAM. Above the display is a 20MP self-portrait camera, and the rear triple camera setup consists of a 48MP main camera, 20MP wide and 8-megapixel telephoto camera.
