Xiaomi announced the launch of the Redmi K20 in China, but the device is named after the Xiaomi 9T. One exception is that India will retain its name and will arrive at the Redmi K20 Pro in mid-July.
Xiaomi India company director Manu Kumar Jain just said on his Twitter that tomorrow he will show “very special” and “real out of the world” with selected Mi fans.
Jain previously said that we will see each other within three weeks after the release of Redmi K20 Pro, and we know that the announcement has not changed. So tomorrow we may see some people on the Mi Explorers team announce the exact release date with Xiaomi executives, and we may see some regional features.
Another suggestion is that the phone will be unveiled and pricing will be announced, but sales will not begin until mid-July.
The release of the Redmi K20 Pro is unlikely to bring us any major surprises. It has launched the Snapdragon 855 chipset in China, the back lift camera and three shooters.
It has a lightweight brother named Redmi K20, which has the same footprint, but runs the Snapdragon 730 chipset, lacks 27W fast charging, and has a stable power of 18W.
