According to reports, the Vivo Z1 Pro originally launched in India is the renamed Vivo Z5x. New details have surfaced, revealing that the two phones are different.
Vivo India’s online store has a phone preview page that contains some of the phone’s main specifications. For beginners, the Vivo Z1 Pro will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 712 processor. Vivo even continues to boast that the Z1 Pro will be India’s first Snapdragon 712 phone.
The processor was released this year with the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is still the only commercial phone powered by the processor. Technically, the Snapdragon 712 is a Snapdragon 710 with a higher clock speed. However, there are other new features, such as True Wireless Stereo Plus technology that supports Quick Charge 4+ and Qualcomm.
The Vivo Z1 Pro will also be equipped with a perforated display, but it does not house a 16MP sensor like the Z5x, it will have a 32MP “display inside camera”.
The phone will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery and support 18W fast charging technology.
In the promotional picture, we can see that this phone is equipped with a three-in-one rear camera, a rear fingerprint scanner and an audio jack. It is also shown in the same Aurora color variant as the Z5x.
There is no release date yet, but seeing Vivo has revealed some key specifications, the launch should be coming soon.
