Samsung Galaxy M40 Confirmed to Have 6GB RAM and Dedicated Bixby Button

The Samsung Galaxy M40 will be launched in India on Tuesday, June 11. But before the official launch, the Korean giant brought a preview video of Bollywood actress Disha Patani to confirm the 6GB of memory of the upcoming smartphone. The actress who signed the Galaxy M series brand spokesperson earlier this year also mentioned the existence of the Snapdragon 675 SoC on the Galaxy M40. In addition, the list in the Google Android Enterprise Solutions Directory has been discovered and seems to list some other key specifications for the new Galaxy phone. The list also shows a rendering that looks like the Galaxy M40 and highlights a dedicated Bixby button.

Patani in the preview video posted on her Instagram account revealed that the Samsung Galaxy M40 will be equipped with 6GB of memory. The 26-year-old actress pointed out that the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 675 SoC, and the given hardware enables a “super smooth” and “super fast” multitasking experience.

Through its social media channel, Samsung has revealed that the Galaxy M40 will feature an Infinity-O display panel with a perforated camera design. The smartphone will also feature a three-post camera setup with a 320,000-pixel main sensor.

In addition to the latest trailer released by Patani, the Android Enterprise Solutions Directory now lists a new Samsung phone called “Samsung 400,000”, which is just the Galaxy M40. The rendering in the list is similar to the recently officially teased Galaxy M40 image. It also recommends using a dedicated Bixby button. Again, there are some specifications that confirm the previous Galaxy M40 rumours.

If we look at the specifications provided in the Android Enterprise Solutions Catalog, Samsung phones will be equipped with a 6.3-inch display, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone also lists Android Pie and features such as fingerprint scanning and NFC.
