PUBG Lite is a low-key version of the popular game royale game tailored for low-end PCs, and finally entered India. The official PUBG Lite Facebook page has confirmed that the game is about to launch in India, but has not yet announced a clear release date. The first beta of PUBG Lite began broadcasting in early January this year, and so far it has expanded to a total of 15 countries, most of which are Asian countries. With the unprecedented popularity of PUBG in India, it is only a matter of time before PUBG Lite enters the country and brings more players who are forgotten due to hardware limitations.
The official PUBG Lite Facebook page only says “PUBG LITE will soon expand to India”, but PUBG Corp has no news about the exact release date. After talking about usability, PUBG Lite was launched in 15 countries after the first beta release in Thailand earlier this year, with Brazil and Turkey being the latest countries on the trial launch on May 23.
Unlike the PC’s core PUBG game, PUBG Lite can be played for free, but players first need to get an official launcher to help them download and install game files later.
As mentioned above, PUBG Lite is aimed at gamers who do not have game equipment but still want to enjoy the game on moderate PC hardware. The minimum and recommended specifications for PUBG Lite are listed below:
