At Oppo’s major developer conference in Beijing, China, the company revealed some details about its custom Android user interface, the ColorOS user base. The conference is designed to help developers achieve commercialization, ad networks, and more.
Oppo claims that the company’s ColorOS is more than 300 million monthly active users, which is the company’s Android custom interface. It also shows that there are more than 200 million Oppo browser users, using an average of 35 minutes per day.
The company further stated that its market has 310 million users in more than 40 countries and regions, distributing 680 million software per day. It also announced the “Oppo Application Intermodal” and will be screened and recommended through the Oppo platform.
It will enable Oppo users to find high-quality content and let developers find core users in a company-like win-win situation. The smart algorithm for user portraits is called “Sky Spectrum,” which uses 38 tags and other differentiation methods to pinpoint core users.
In addition, Liang Xiaoyun, head of operations at Oppo Advertising Alliance, said the company’s ability to analyze big data users helps provide a high-quality advertising experience for users. For developers, they added native advertising capabilities to provide developers with a rich business solution.
Earlier this year, in March, Oppo officially announced a new version of its operating system, ColorOS 6.0. The company said it chose borderless symmetry based on invisible lines and meshes. The inventory app also provides the appropriate full-screen experience, clearer borders and other UI elements.
The company has also turned to lighter tones, similar to the Google material design language, with a lot of white. It also brings some operational changes. The navigation panel now includes shortcuts and an application drawer has been added that can be accessed via the up swipe gesture on the home screen.
