The Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus are expected to be the next generation of the Lenovo Moto mid-range smartphone line, which is expected to be available sometime next year. Even Moto Z4 is expected to take over Moto Z3 in 2019. Although there is still some time to officially launch these Moto-branded smartphones, new leaks have emerged that reveal some key details surrounding them. One of the main highlights of this leak is that Moto Z4 is expected to launch Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship Snapdragon 8150 SoC instead of the old chipset. This is because the current Moto Z3 uses the outdated Snapdragon 835 SoC.
In addition, the famous Twitter Andri Yatim (@HeyAndri on Twitter) said that the Moto G7 will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with 4GB of memory and 32GB of built-in storage. The higher-end Moto G7 Plus may get a SoC from the Snapdragon 700 series, which may be just Snapdragon 710 or any other new SoC that appeared before the Moto conference. The SoC will be equipped with 4GB / 6GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage.
Finally, the Moto Z4 flagship smartphone is recommended to run the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 SoC with 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of onboard storage. There is no information on whether these three phones can provide external storage expansion capabilities. The Twitter has not disclosed any other details of the three phones.
Rendering of the Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus has been leaked earlier this month, indicating the presence of a drop-shaped display notch and a horizontally aligned dual rear camera setting. Although there is a miniature notch at the top, the bottom chin is very large and has the Motorola logo.
