Coolpad has just expanded its lineup in India with the Cool 3 Plus smartphone. The Cool 3 Plus has a dewdrop notch that provides higher RAM and storage options than its predecessor, Cool 3, which was released in India in February 2019.
It comes with a 13 megapixel main camera and a fingerprint sensor that targets the price-sensitive mass market. Smartphones are comparable in price and price to the Redmi 6A and Realme C2, while the Cool 3 Plus is based on its design, larger battery and dual 4G support.
Coolpad Cool 3 Plus Specifications and Features
The Coolpad Cool 3 Plus features a 5.71-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1520px, a pixel density of 295 PPI and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone has a thin bezel on three sides and a slim chin. The device supports face unlocking and has a traditionally placed fingerprint sensor at the rear.
It uses a quad-core 2.0 GHz MediaTek Helio A22 processor with two configurations – 2GB of RAM + 16GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM + 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone uses a large-capacity, non-removable 3,000 mAh lithium-ion battery.
The device is not useful on the dual rear camera device seen on Cool 3, it is equipped with a 13 megapixel AI powered main camera, and an 8 megapixel front camera and a monochrome LED flash.
The smartphone has USB OTG support, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, light and proximity sensors. It has dual SIM card slots and supports 4G LTE.
Cool Cool 3 Plus price and release
The Coolpad Cool 3 Plus is priced at Rs. The base model of 5,999 (about $87) comes with 2GB of RAM, while the advanced version with 3GB of RAM will get you back to Rs. 6,499 (about $94). The device is Amazon’s exclusive product and was launched in India on July 2. Cherry Black and Ocean Blue are the two colors of the phone.
