Samsung had some trouble before launching the Galaxy Fold smartphone, and the company decided to delay the sale of the first foldable smartphone. Although the Korean giant has not officially started selling, Russian manufacturer Caviar has launched three limited edition Galaxy Fold.
Among the three new variants, one is the Samsung Galaxy Fold Game of Thrones Edition, inspired by the American fantasy series “Game of Thrones”. The other two variants are leather and carbon. Almost everything on a limited-edition smartphone is the same as the standard Galaxy Fold, except that it comes with a custom power game skin on the GoT version.
The Galaxy Fold’s “Game of Thrones” version includes large houses from seven countries, the dragon and tower figures of the palace, and a map engraved with Westeros. The company has only produced seven versions of this version, and it has given a unit to the power game author George Martin.
If you are a fan of “Game of Thrones” and want to have this limited edition device, then be prepared to take so much money. The Samsung Galaxy Fold Game of Thrones is priced at $8,180, four times the standard version.
The standard Samsung Galaxy Fold is priced at $1,980 and is expected to be available soon. According to reports, the company has fixed the display-related issues and is preparing to officially launch sales of mobile phones.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold smartphone features a 7.3-inch Infinity Flex display with a resolution of 1536 x 2152. In this mode, you can use three applications at the same time, which Samsung calls three application multitasking.
When folded into phone mode, it provides a 4.6-inch 840 x 1960 display. It comes with a feature called App Continuity that automatically adjusts the app when switching screens. It uses a 7nm processor and 12GB of RAM.
The phone is equipped with a camera module consisting of a 16 megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 12 megapixel telephoto camera and another 12MP wide-angle camera. On the front side, it is equipped with a 10MP sensor. It runs the latest Samsung One UI, and the Android 9 Pie operating system works out of the box. The phone is equipped with a 4,380mAh battery and is divided into two parts.
